Medium: Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop, SquarespaceDesign Objectives: The objective was to design an identity system and develop it into a brand for a large and small animal veterinary clinic, which would grow the company into a leading veterinary business in Northwest Arkansas. The logo is simple and clean, with a distinctive and clever figure-ground interaction that engages the viewer’s mind. The emblem, which first appears as a dark paw on a lighter background, is a paw in the negative space of a hoof representing both large and small animals. Date: 2016 – Present (Continous Client)

The logo is bold and straightforward; it uses lines to represent the downtown main street. On closer inspection of the lines, a DC reinforcing the business name.

Medium: Adobe IllustratorDesign Objectives: Design a new logo and identity system for a veterinary clinic that represents what they do and who they are in a memorable and meaningful way to their clients. The Dog in the logo is a statue in their lobby, which sits by the door and greets clients as they enter. The cat represents their office cat.

Colon and Rectal Surgical Associates: Recognized in the Print Regional Design Annual — The logo was designed To bring a bit of humor to an otherwise serious situation for patients. Boo Boo the Bear was used to indicate which room the doctor should go to next when visiting patients. Most patients knew about Boo Boo. Using band-aids added a bit of truth and humor.2. Roasters & Growers: Logo for a non-profit direct-sourcing coffee-buying cooperative representing both the roasters and the growers. An illustration of a roaster and coffee branches was used to create a descriptive mark. 3. Cross Country Cyclery: Creative Quarterly Winner, Issue 35, Jan. 2014 — A mountain bike and road bike repair shop. Represent both in a clean design using a modified typographic treatment.4. Bailey Photography: Logo for a photographer and his photo business. The photographer used his fingers and hands to frame a composition before shooting a picture. The concept incorporates hand and eye to represent his signature move.5. R2P: A monogram-style logo for a Business-to-Business company. The logo is simple, clean, and professional.6. Siloam Springs Museum: Logo for Siloam Springs Historical Museum. Represents the iconic bridge over the creek and springs in town. Colors were used to communicate the idea of water and freshness. 7. The Table: Logo for a House Church plant in Bend, Oregon. The logo represents both a table and a cross stating that as we sit around a table, we follow Christ's example of fellowship with his disciples.8. John Brown University Visual Arts Student Club: The logo was designed in a modern and distinctive monogram style that students would embrace.9. PAWS, Palouse Animal Wellness and Surgical Center: A logo designed for a veterinary clinic in Idaho. The logo was designed to identify the business as an animal care facility quickly. The concept integrates a medical cross into an animal paw and uses the name's initials spelling out PAW to indicate the type of business.10. God, Life, & Stuff: The podcast logo was designed to be interesting and attention-grabbing, illustrating the chaos of life.11. Arne Walker Coaching and Counseling: Monogram style logo for an independent coach and contractor.12. Camp Jabali: 2019 — Logo for a nature camp that provides a new experience for intercity kids. Jabali is Swahili for the Rock. Each element has a symbolic meaning to the camp owners. The shape and idea of the logo were modeled after the Ethiopian Flag, the area of Africa where the work Jabali originates.
